Picasso Painters

This brand identity was created for a Nashville residential and commercial painting company.

Inspiration

I drew inspiration from vintage metal engravings. I liked the old style and the detail that went into each engraving. I created the paint brush icon line by line so that it looks like a true engraving.

Process

My process for this project began by interviewing the client to determine his needs for his new brand image. After my initial interview I researched images of engravings and vintage style paint brushes and paint rollers.

After my research I began to free sketch different types of brushes and paint rolls.

After deciding on a style that I liked and the client liked, I proceeded to create the brush in digital form using Adobe Illustrator.

This logo is still currently in use.
